Where We Place
Imaging is where a single vacancy translates most directly into a waitlist. A scanner sitting idle because there is no technologist to run it costs the facility revenue and costs patients weeks. Yet imaging is also where the local talent pool is thinnest. Many facilities simply do not have a qualified MRI or nuclear medicine technologist within commuting distance.
That is the specific problem our travel staffing model was built for. We source nationally, verify certification with CAMRT, Sonography Canada, or the applicable provincial regulator, confirm hands on modality experience, and coordinate flights and accommodation so the technologist arrives ready to work.
Modality experience is not generic. A technologist confident on one manufacturer’s platform may need orientation on another, and we would rather tell you that up front than have you discover it on day one.

Some facilities do not need a technologist on staff. They need imaging done without moving the patient. ProMed provides mobile X-ray and ultrasound delivered on-site, which is often the better answer for long-term care homes, correctional facilities, and remote or rural sites where transport is costly, slow, or clinically risky for the patient.
It is a full service, not a staffing placement. Equipment, technologist, and coordination arrive together. Ask us about coverage in your region.

MRI, CT, and general radiography are separate competencies. We treat them that way.
When nobody local is available, we look nationally and handle the travel end to end.

Licensure verified in your province, records and immunizations confirmed, references checked with previous supervisors, and one named ProMed contact for the length of the assignment.
